Mauricio Vaca Valenzuela (Santiago, Chile, 1987), mais conhecido como Malicho Vaca, é ator, dramaturgo e diretor de teatro e cinema. Tornou-se mais cohecido pela sua participação como actor nos filmes de Miguel San Miguel, onde interpretou o cantautor chileno Jorge González da banda Los Prisioneros, Las plantas, e no filme Cola de mono dirigida pelo realizador e guionista chileno Alberto Fuguet.
Em 2013 cria, junto com Ébana Garín, a companhia de teatro Le Insolente Teatre, tendo aí desenvolvido a sua primeira criação teatral “Bolero de Almas Perdidas”. Em 2020 cria a peça “Reminiscência”, em plena pandemia, desde o seu quarto. Em 2022 cria e dirige “Identidad #83”, obra que utiliza imagens, videos e música para falar do ator e cirurgião Roberto Hoppmann.
Malicho Vaca, née Mauricio Vaca Valenzuela, (Santiago, Chile, 1987), is an actor, playwright, and director of theater and film. He became more widely known for his participation as an actor in Miguel San Miguel's films, where he portrayed the Chilean singer-songwriter Jorge González from the band Los Prisioneros, Las plantas, and in the film Cola de mono, directed by Chilean filmmaker and screenwriter Alberto Fuguet.
In 2013, he founded the theater company Le Insolente Teatre with Ébana Garín, where he developed his first theatrical creation, Bolero de Almas Perdidas. In 2020, he created the play Reminiscência, during the pandemic, from his bedroom. In 2022, he created and directed Identidad #83, a work that uses images, videos, and music to talk about the actor and surgeon Roberto Hoppmann.
