No dia 26 de setembro, terça-feira, às 18h30, Linha de Fuga acolhe em Coimbra, na igreja do Mosteiro de Santa Clara - a - Velha, o lançamento do número #9 do jornal Coreia.
Para o lançamento do Coreia #9, contamos com a apresentação do seu diretor editorial, e da performance Claralinda, Juliana, Inês, Irene, Isabel por Luísa Saraiva, que partilha a sua pesquisa e prática em torno das fisicalidades do canto, dos limites da voz feminina e da natureza háptica do som. Explora as possibilidades sonoras entre a respiração, o som e o canto através de uma prática de movimento que expõe visualmente o trabalho físico envolvido no controlo da respiração. O universo musical é inspirado em canções tradicionais do norte de Portugal e da Galiza sobre violência contra as mulheres e sentimentos de amargura feminina.
Coreia é uma publicação de carácter experimental, crítico e discursivo a propósito das artes em geral, firmada numa relação umbilical com a dança. De tiragem semestral, o jornal pretende ser um fórum independente e internacionalista a partir de questões, obras e artistas, preocupado em divulgar formatos vários em língua portuguesa.

On the 26th of September, Tuesday, at 6.30 pm, Linha de Fuga hosts in Coimbra, in the church of the Monastery of Santa Clara - a - Velha, the launch of issue #9 of the newspaper Coreia.
For the release of Coreia #9, we have the presentation of its editorial director, and the performance Claralinda, Juliana, Inês, Irene, Isabel by Luísa Saraiva, who shares her research and practice around the physicalities of singing, the limits of female voice and the haptic nature of sound. The performance explores the sonic possibilities between breathing, sound and singing through a practice of movement that visually exposes the physical work involved in breath control. The musical universe is inspired by traditional songs from the north of Portugal and Galicia about violence against women and feelings of female bitterness.
Coreia is an experimental, critical and discursive publication about the arts in general, established in an umbilical relationship with dance. Published every six months, the newspaper intends to be an independent and internationalist forum based on issues, works and artists, concerned with disseminating various formats in Portuguese.
