Michela Depetris atua em contextos performáticos como performer e como autora, com linguagens híbridas entre performance, linguagem coreográfica, vídeo, som e instalações, interessada em produzir metodologias e formatos que fujam às lógicas convencionais e ao timing habitual de produção. Ela reflete sobre as conexões entre intimidade, visão, transformação, vulnerabilidade e coletivo a partir de perspectivas transfeministas e queer. Atua na esfera educacional no planejamento e criação de projetos internacionais que promovam a inclusão social, a integração, a imaginação radical e as relações através das linguagens da arte, tanto em colaboração com outros artistas como com o Departamento de Educação da Fundação Merz, museu de arte contemporânea. arte em Turim. Como performer, entre outros, trabalhou com Ari Benjamin Meyers, Cynthia Marcelle, Silvia Calderoni/Ilenia Caleo, Maria Folguera, Derek Di Fabio.
Participou no Laboratório 2020.
Michela Depetris works in performance contexts as a performer and as an author, with hybrid languages between performance, choreographic language, video, sound and installations, interested in producing methodologies and formats that escape conventional logics and the usual production timing. She reflects on the connections between intimacy, vision, transformation, vulnerability and collective from transfeminist and queer perspectives. She works in the educational sphere in the planning and creation of international projects that foster social inclusion, integration, radical imagination and relationships through the languages of art, both in collaboration with other artists and with the Education Department of the Merz Foundation, museum of contemporary art in Turin. As a performer, among others, she has worked with Ari Benjamin Meyers, Cynthia Marcelle, Silvia Calderoni/Ilenia Caleo, Maria Folguera, Derek Di Fabio.
She was a participant in the Laboratory 2020.
“Sonhei que era um extra-terrestre e organizava karaoke populares no planeta Terra, festas em casa para mover olhos, cordas vocais, jumentos, perna, folhas, consciências. Escrevi textos cheios de banalidade nos quais despejei inteligência alienígena que entrou na humanidade a partir da tela, acompanhando-a sem esforço para que pudesse tocar outra dimensão. ”
CHE WING GUN TRANSKARAOKE_DAFFODILS ARE 50% HUMAN é uma performance híbrida que viaja entre karaoke, ritual de posse, festa, videoclipe e outras coisas que ainda não estão bem definidas. É uma reflexão sobre a conexão entre várias realidades (humanas, animais, vegetais, minerais, bacterianas, extraterrestres, tecnológicas ...) que compõem a matéria vibratória em que estamos imersos e da qual fazemos parte, percecionando o material não como algo que separa e distingue as coisas, mas como algo que permite que se encontrem e se misturem.

I have written texts full of banality into which I poured alien intelligence that entered humanity from the screen, effortlessly accompanying it so it can touch another dimension.”
CHE WING GUN TRANSKARAOKE_DAFFODILS ARE 50% HUMAN is a hybrid performance that travels between karaoke, possession ritual, party, videoclip and other things that are not yet well defined. It is a reflection on the connection between various realities (human, animal, vegetable, mineral, bacterial, extraterrestrial, technological...) that compose the vibrating matter in which we are immersed and of which we are part of, perceiving material not as something that separates and distinguishes things, but as something allowing their meeting and mixing.
