Gustavo Ciríaco (Rio de Janeiro) é artista transdisciplinar, cujo trabalho transita entre as artes performativas e as artes visuais. Cientista político e bailarino de formação, seu trabalho é marcado por um pronunciado perfil site-specific. As suas obras fazem dialogar contexto e arquitetura, geografia e habitação, realidade e ficção, numa pesquisa contínua desde há 20 anos sobre os campos extensivos da arte de fazer danças. Ciríaco tem trabalhado transversalmente através de diferentes campos do saber e das artes, e de seus distintos modos de interação, reunindo ferramentas e insights de como lidar com o tempo e espaço comuns. Com uma trajetória internacional, com passagens desde as Américas até a Ásia, passando pela Europa e o Médio Oriente, o seu trabalho tem sido acolhido por importantes festivais e instituições. Desde 2021, Ciríaco é tutor do programa THIRD, da DAS - Universidade de Amesterdão.
Gustavo Ciríaco (Rio de Janeiro) is a transdisciplinary artist, whose work moves between performing arts and visual arts. A political scientist and trained dancer, his work is marked by a pronounced site-specific profile. His works bring together context and architecture, geography and housing, reality and fiction, in continuous research for 20 years into the extensive fields of the art of making dances. Ciríaco has worked across different fields of knowledge and arts, and their different modes of interaction, bringing together tools and insights on how to deal with common time and space. With an international trajectory, spanning from the Americas to Asia, Europe and the Middle East, his work has been welcomed by important festivals and institutions. Since 2021, Ciríaco has been a tutor on the THIRD program, at DAS - University of Amsterdam.
