Aixa Figini é uma cantora, musicóloga e produtora argentina. Licenciada em Artes Musicais pela Universidad de Buenos Aires. Estudou também na Escola de Música Contemporânea de Buenos Aires. Posteriormente, interessada na gestão das artes performativas, realizou um mestrado de Gestão e Políticas Culturais na Goldsmiths University of London, no Reino Unido. Na Argentina aprendeu com mestres da voz e da interpretação como Susana Rossi e Juan Cuarlos Cuacci, e estudou percussão e cantos africanos.

Aixa Figini is an Argentine singer, musicologist and producer. Degree in Musical Arts from the University of Buenos Aires. She also studied at the School of Contemporary Music in Buenos Aires. Subsequently, interested in the management of the performing arts, she held a master's degree in Management and Cultural Policies at Goldsmiths University of London, in the United Kingdom. In Argentina, she learned from masters of voice and interpretation such as Susana Rossi and Juan Cuarlos Cuacci, and studied African percussion and singing. She dedicated herself to teaching singing and vocal technique for several years and participated and developed several musical projects such as a tango singer, Argentine folklore, Latin American music and musical-vocal improvisation. She moved to London in 2012 where she did a master's degree in cultural management. She worked in the production of festivals and musical events, and developed artistic projects of Latin American music as a singer, with whom she performed in different cultural spaces in the city, including Southbank Center. Passionate about the creative possibilities that musical improvisation allows, she studied the directed improvisation system (Ritmo com Señas) created by the Argentine musician and percussionist Santiago Vázquez at CERPS (Centro de Estudios del Ritmo y Percusión con Señas, Argentina) and was part of several ensembles of rhythm and improvisation with this language. She is also a certified trainer (2018) by the international organization Musicians Without Borders, which specializes in the use of music as a tool for community creation and social cohesion. She has lived in Lisbon since 2018, where she develops several musical projects as an artist, creator and producer. Among them, she directs the female vocal improvisation ensemble CIRCULAR, and her trio of Latin American music.
